Advice I would give to upcoming Ap Language and Composition students is pay attention, study, and stay consistent with the work. Ap Language and Composition is not a hard course academically, it may be hard if the course is taken at home. Paying attention is one thing that will keep you set for the course, when you pay attention it’ll make getting work done much easier. If you study you will be set for the course also, especially for quizzes, and the Ap Exam. Staying consistent will keep you on your work, there would be no point of failing if there’s consistency with the work. To guarantee a 3 or higher on the Ap Exam and passing the class you have to practice writing, in any form it will help tremendously. Writing is fun when you know what you’re doing, hopefully upcoming students in Ap Language and Composition are able to get through successfully. Virtual Learning is horrible, but it was a great learning experience, it shows what is needed to be stronger with writing and even sc...
I believe giving students the option of taking Ap Language/ Composition would help improve the virtual course. In my experience virtual courses are much more challenging than taking an Ap course in school, allowing students the option to take them would be better because the students are the ones who have to go through the stress of getting the work done and preparing for the Ap exam. I feel like there’s no point of me taking an Ap course if I know I can excel in a regular course, it’s a complete set up, taking it virtually makes it no better. For instance I was thrown into Ap Language/ Composition and Ap Environmental Science, I already knew it was going to be challenging for me this semester with already having Ap United States History on my hands. I felt like I should’ve been given a choice to take the courses despite how well I did in the previous classes, it felt forced which causes me to shut down and lose interest then leads to failing grades. The system should also figure...
Today we went over our vocabulary videos. We were given vocabulary words and we had to find videos that acted out the words. At first it was hard to find videos to use, but after a while I found some. The videos helped me remember what the words meant. I enjoyed watching everyone’s presentations.
