  Today was another easy day, we continued with our project... which is much simpler completing it as a group. I decided to do the assignment part of the essay, I was confused at first even though I listened when it was explained. I make things harder than what it is because I tend to overthink it. Turns out all I had to do was compose a prompt question for our topic, which still caused me to overthink for whatever reason. 

  Today was a smooth day, I spent the day trying to figure out what needs to be done school wise. Today in class we started our group project. Our topic is Mass Violence, my group members are cool so far. I feel like our topic can be touched on in many different ways. I’m glad I don’t have to stress over this by myself. It'll be easier with a group. 

  Today we went over our vocabulary videos. We were given vocabulary words and we had to find videos that acted out the words. At first it was hard to find videos to use, but after a while I found some. The videos helped me remember what the words meant. I enjoyed watching everyone’s presentations.

  Today in class we had to write a claim and provide evidence on why school is or is not boring. I was very conflicted on what side I wanted to be on. In some ways school isn’t boring and in others it is. To me certain subjects are boring but I have to do the work to get out of the class, which causes me to not retain the information. If the subject interests me i’d say school isn’t boring. 

 Today was an easy day, we went over our test scores from the practice exam we took a week ago. I didn’t do so well, I could’ve did 10x better but i’m still trying to get used to this. I find it very hard to write an essay nowadays. My environment plays a big factor in my writing performance. I feel as if I was in school my essay would be decent, judging from my past essays i’m just not feeling it any more. I have to try to get it together before the AP Exam. I hope I will.

Today I learned a lot about apostrophes and semicolons. I was better with apostrophes because I kind of knew when to use them. I stayed away from semicolons I didn’t know how to use them, I feel like I have a better understanding now. I wasn’t taught much about semicolons and apostrophes during my years of school. I’m glad that I had the opportunity to learn more about them.
